Question
I have had my rabbit since birth. He is 6 months old and I had him neutered 3 weeks ago because I wanted him to not show aggression as he matured.  Plus, I didn't want more rabbits.  He had nip us before around 4 mo. old.  Today, my husband went outside, the rabbit chased him and bite his ankle drawing blood.  He has nipped me and my son without breaking the skin.  My husband wants to get rid of him now.  How can I put an end to the biting and aggression?

Answer
Sometimes neutering them makes them more agressive. Teaching him that biting will  not earn him any attention or special treatment, may help to change this behavior. It is hard to correct a biter. I have saw many cases in which a nice and sweet rabbit turns agressive and angry once fixed. I am  not exactly sure on why, but this is why i am against spay/neuter. Do you have female rabbtis too? IF not then you wouldn't have to worry about baby bunnies if you own only males.
