Question
my question is i have 2 bunnies they are 4 months old i think they are boys but not sure i know the bigger one tried to mount smaller bunny and was pulling hair out of other one. It almost looks to me like they are boys they have a white furry area almost simlilar to when looking to find out if cats are males it looks similar in some ways to a male cat. so how do you know for sure and can any vet neuter  bunnies or does ir have to be certain  kind of vet that specializes in bunnies

Answer
You are going to have to call around and ask the vets.  It is generally safer to neuter the bucks than spay the does.  There are some good vets out there that will neuter them.  We take ours to our farm vet.  She would not spay a rabbit but she neuters them frequently.  Now a lot of people would tell you that you need an exotic animal vet.  They do have the special equipment if the rabbit were to stop breathing.  If you are concerned about the vet just ask them how often they neuter rabbits.

As for the mounting it is how they tell each other who is boss.  However if they are both indeed males you are going to want to get them neutered as soon as you can.  It is very difficult to make a bond with two males even if they are neutered.  If they already have a bond you may want to get working on this quickly before they start fighting.  If you notice that they are fighting and not just mounting they will need to be separated right away.

Good luck
