Ihave this cute lion head bunny. also a cotton tail bunny,my lion head is a male. and my cotton tail is a female. and the cotton tail has been eating the hair off my lion head. should i move one to another cage?

Hi Dot,

yes they can and do.  You cannot just put two strange rabbits together.  You have to do bonding in most cases which is a process that can take weeks to months.

Bottom line is rabbits are like people, THEY pick their friends, not you.  

Keep them in separate cages.  Get them both fixed by a GOOD RABBIT VET so that you are dealing with less aggressive rabbits (towards you and each other).  Wait 4-5 weeks after the last surgery before trying to bond as it takes this long for hormone levels to settle to their new lower levels.

Also you need to know if one of your rabbits seems to prefer being alone, as some rabbits like to be 'solo' bunnies and may be okay with other rabbits outside of their area, but not directly in their territory.
