Question
Hello, Just some quick questions!!
I have 2 lady buns,(almost 6 month dwarf "Money" and 4 month mini lop "Honey") When we where introducing, Money was mounting and chasing Honey (she was the new kid in town),and now they are grooming each other and cuddling together to sleep, ect.  Though, when i try pet or kiss Honey, Money tends to mount Honey. Is this a jealousy issue? Should I intervene when this happens? Neither are spayed, will this help with that? Since they are both females, will Honey start to do this or will they start to fight when she reached sexual maturity, because it seems that  Honey is the lesser dominate one.  She is very shy, even still to me. We have had her since July and she still freezes when I go to pet her. I have tried bribing her with treats, and i am always down on their level when playing with them. I play with them for at least an hour a day, and they play with each other the rest of the time they are out, is this okay? Money was warmed up and grooming me by the end of the 1st month of having her. Are lops a shy breed?
Also, my rabbits have a large walk-in closet to themselves. In it they  have their cage, chew toys, a pile of newspaper for shredding, and box houses to play in. I  feel like they are bored. (that is why we got Honey for Money)  Do you have any suggestions for good play activities? Sorry this is so long! Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi,

Now lops are not a shy breed and the mounting won't stop until one rabbit establishs itself boss or you get both of them spayed.  Also some fun activites that I really enjoy with my rabbit are taking them on walks and filling a cup with vegetables and putting it at the end of a maze or a tunnel that is wide enough for two of my rabbits.  This will teach team work and may help them get along better.  I hope I could help!
