QuestionMy Rabbit is about 6 1/2 months old. It is a girl and i have house trained her. She lives in a large kennel and i let her out to play when i am able to supervise. She is the only rabbit in the house. Latley she has started to hump my arm. I thought this was only male behaviour? She is not spayed and there is no possible way she is pregnant!
Help
AnswerDear Jessica,
Both males and females will mount to show dominance, affection, and plain old sexual frustration. They'll also start to spray urine, when they reach full sexual maturity. So now's the time to find a good rabbit vet:

and schedule a time to have her spayed in the next six weeks or so. I like to wait until a female is at least 8 months old, so her estrogen can do its work in forming her skeleton. But if her behavior is really out of control, it can be done sooner. Please see:

for more information.
Hope that helps.
