netherland dwarf has enlarged nipple

My daughter has a 1 and 1/2 year old himalayan netherland dwarf female bunny.  She has not been spayed yet.We have noticed she has 2 enlarged nipples.  They look like large lumps. We are finding alot of fur in her cage.  Is this a false pregnancy?  Her behavior is still as sweet as can be.

It could very well be a false pregnancy or it could be an infection in the mammary glands.  The best thing to do for her is to get her to a vet for confirmation.

If she is running around with fur in her mouth and trying to build a nest then I would definitely suspect false pregnancy.  If it is just hair build up I would suspect normal molt.  It is that time of year that rabbits will molt.  

Please take her in for an exam.  It has to be very painful for her.  I really hope she is ok.
