HIND LEGS WONT WORK?

Question
I rescued a rabbit believe it of not jut yesterday and to day he cant move his hind legs He  perfectly fine yesterday.  What could have happed in such a short time period? And is he in pain and what can I do for him?

Dear Robin,

Please get him to a good rabbit vet immediately:

If the paresis is due to a traumatic soft tissue injury, time is of the essence, and a short-acting corticosteroid could make a big difference, though this will be at the discretion of the vet.  Some conditions contraindicate the use of steroids, which some vets won't use at all for rabbits.
