Question
My rabbits have started eating their litter trays, nibbling the hutch, trying to eat my jeans and various other plastic/wood things.I have read before that they sometimes do this if they are bored, but they all live with another rabbit, have a big hutch and run,and have some toys to play with.I can't seem to stop them from eating things they shouldn't!!!!! Please help!!!

Answer
Hi,

well, rabbits do like to nibble on things.  Actually the need to in order to wear down their teeth.

My suggestion to you is to give them something they find more appealing than what you don't want them to nibble.  Seagrass mats from the pet supply store.  Wicker tents, balls and chew rings from the pet supply store, or directly from Busy Bunny.  Blocks of untreated pine wood.  There are safe cotton chew toys you can get at the pet supply store - the safe cotton dog rope bones (make sure they are cotton and not dyed).  And hay, they need a lot of hay all the time, this will help keep them busy and chewing.  Good fresh timothy hay.  They won't get fat on hay, it's what they are designed to eat.
