Question
I takes him on my bed , and my rabbit will go nuts , and twictch and jump up high, and dart around. Its kind of hard to explain , but iwas just wondering is it something i should bring him to the vet ad have someone look at him , orif hes just hyper. But its like something tics, and he twitches and jumps across the bed.

Thank-you

Answer
Dear Stephanie,

Your rabbit is doing the normal happy dance of a very excited, happy bunny. We sometimes call this "binkying".  It's not anything to be worried about.  It's something to watch and enjoy because it means he's very happy.  Rabbits laugh with their whole body!

This is more evidence that rabbits need a BIG space to run and play, with plenty of traction (slippery tile, wood or linoleum are NOT good for rabbits!) so they can do this wild dance as much as possible. It's great exercise for both mind and body. And it's really fun to watch.
