Question
Right now my dwarf rabbit, almost 2-year old, is living outside. It is close to 25 plus degrees outside and I want to bring the rabbit inside. I have heard that when bringing a cold rabbit indoors, it could be fatal. Can I bring my rabbit  inside for the remaining of the winter, or should I put some kind of heat source outside?

Answer
Dear Elizabeth,

I'm not sure who keeps spreading these rumors that it can be fatal to bring a bunny in from the cold.  It's just not true.

As long as the house is a comfortable temperature, no warmer than about 75 Farenheit, your bunny will be just fine.  She is MUCH safer inside than outside in the freezing cold.  Please bring her in ASAP!
