what is a rabbit fit?

I bought 2 lops from a pet store 4 months ago and was told they were 8 weeks and both girls..now they are about 6 months and i am questioning the both girls issue..I have 2 questions...#1 do girl bunnies try to hump other girl bunnies?   #2  What is a bunny fit?  one of the bunnies went ballistic the other night so bad i thought it was trying to committ suicide.  she (or he) just kept throwing itself up again the metal bars of the exercise pen.

I will answer each questions at a time for you.

1) Girl bunnies do try to thump each other sometimes. So dont worry about this. They wont do it all the time. But on one accation they will do. But dont worry about it.

2) A bunny fit is where they lie on the floor and have there mouth open. They also start to shake. It looks like they cant breath. These fits can happen if the rabbit falls wrongly, or if it starts bumping into walls. Its not very nice to see at all. But if a rabbit does have a fit, you should leave him alone. DONT try and pick them up. Just leave them there. They will come out of the fit and will go back to normal. But sometimes when a rabbit has come out from the fit, they die in a hour. Only strong rabbits can survive fits. If your rabbit does then you should take them to a vert stright away.
So thats is a rabbit fit.

My rabbit has had 6 fits, but it did make her life not a good one. So i do hope yours dont get these fits.

Dont worry about your rabbit jumping about. This can mean they are having fun. Buit if it does get to the point where he is jumping to high, then u will need to think about putting something over on the top of the run.
