Rabbit got out and now has oil

     My rabbit got out of his cage and got oil on his fur. How can I get it off. Also I think he ate a citronellas candle. Is he going to die?

Sarah, you can give him a spot bath where the oil is and dry him off very well.  If he is covered in it first wash the spots where he can lick - so he does not get poisoned with the oil.  Washing a bunny all over is not a good idea because they can get chilled and then got sick.

Eating a citronella candle is also not recommended - but there is nothing you an do about it now.  You should give him just lots of hay for a few days to scrub out the candela.
