Scratch in ear

My daughter 4H bunny, scratched his ear. We did not notice it till it got infecteed, we have put neosporin on it, but it smells and has a lot of puss down in his ear canal. Do I need to take him to the vet, or will it clear up. My vet is gone for the next week.. Not sure if I should wait or take it to another one.

This is very unlikely to clear up on its own, and if there is pus in the ear canal, this could become very serious if left untreated, and cause the bunny to develop a head tilt/torticollis:

Please find a good rabbit vet here:

and get bunny there for appropriate treatment.
