Female Agression

Question
Hello,

I have had my bunny for about 5 months now. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I noticed she started hissing or growling at me when I would stick my hands in the cage. She is now biting. She also no longer likes to be picked up and runs away when on the ground. When being held she is either completely fine or is clawing me to death to put her down. Is she just hitting maturity and should i get her fixed, or is this a behavior that I can fix?
Thank you very much.

Answer
Sounds like she is hitting maturity. A rabbit that agressive that is not bred will likely not be corrected completely. If you do not plan on breeding her, then you should get her fixed. It will help with her behavior some, and the rest you can correct.
