QuestionI've just bought a rabbit. He seems perfectly healthy but his eyes look different. One looks like a normal rabbit eye the other one you can see the white of his eye all the way around his iris. There both the same size apart from the smaller iris and theres no swelling or discharge coming from it. Is he blind in that eye or is something wrong?
AnswerDear Emily,
Without seeing the bunny's eye, I can't tell if there is an abnormality. But ordinarily you can't see much of the sclera in a healthy rabbit eye.
I would get him to a good rabbit vet for a wellness check, and let the vet have a look. You can find a good vet here:

It could be a genetic anomaly, or it could be that the eye is bulging slightly, and that could signal a serious problem such as a retrobulbar abscess. I hope it's nothing! But it's best to find out soon, if it's something that needs to be treated.
Hope this helps.
