Question
should i be cleaning my rabbits ears?

Answer
What you should be doing is checking your rabbits ears.  Once a month is fine.

Unless your rabbit is unhealthy or has long floppy ears, rabbits do a pretty good job of cleaning their ears.  Rabbits do a lot of their ear cleaning with their back feet.  So old, sick, or injured rabbits may have trouble.

Rabbit ears aren't the easiest to look at and clean, because they're often narrow at the base.  But if you look in the ears and see some wax, you can wet down the end of q-tip with ear cleaner and gently wipe the wax out.
