lump on back

Question
Hey, I noticed that my 5 year old male polish dwarf bunny has a little bump on his back above his skin. It feels hard and looks grey, and is not getting bigger. It doesn't bother him when I touch it or pet over it and he continues to act normally. What is it? I am very worried.

Hi Veronica,

Without seeing you I can't tell you what it is.  It could be a tumor,an abscess, a maggot or just an inflammation of the area.  Your best bet is to take the bunny to a rabbit savvy vet to make sure he is ok.  If you don't already have a vet you can try this list.
