Question
i have just introduced a baby male rabbit to a castrated old rabbit, they seem to be getting on great but when will i know they are really ok

Answer
Hi Jill

If you have introduced them in neutral territory and they are getting along they may have love at first site.  If you put the baby right in the adults cage and there was no fighting then you are very lucky.

Bonding can sometimes be a short process and sometimes takes literally months.  Since your older buck is neutered he is probably really docile.  I am still attaching some sites that tell you how to bond.  Once you have done the steps and the rabbits start to groom each other and nuzzle together they are most likely successfully bonded.

Congratulations on your new pet.  I hope he brings you many years of enjoyment.

(Remember when the little one is old enough to get him neutered also or your other rabbit might end up getting injured)
