Potty training

Question
I have a mini rex and she is 8 months old. We got her a week ago and she is not spade. She lives in the house in an enclosure that is pretty large. It's about 4x6 feet. It was a kennel for a dog but I thought it would be nice for her to have a lot of room to run and avoid her feet being sore from sitting on wire. She has two litter boxes in the enclosure and she does use them but she is still pooping all over. Is there anything I can do to get her to go in litter box all the time? This is my first rabbit so I've never potty trained one before. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Answer
Since you've only had her a week, part of this behavior could be marking the cage as her own.  Rabbits are very territorial, especially when they haven't been fixed.

The pooping outside the box may go down in time, but it will be easier to litter train her if she is fixed.

You can also try to encourage her to spend time in her box by putting some hay in it.  Many rabbits like to sit and graze in their box.

But this is just a small bit of what you can try.  These articles have good tips for litter training you bun:
