dear lorena!
My question is that i got a  male guniea pig ,from my understanding he is a peruvian is that a rare breed to have as a pet or not? I other question is. What other shampoo if i got no guniea pig shampoo could i use that will not harm them?. thank you alexis (guniea pig lover)

Well, as pets, peruvians are semi-rare.  They are quite common as show animals.  The reason they are somewhat rare as pets is that they require a lot of upkeep, with all that hair and all.

As for shampoo, I'm glad you're concerned about not harming your animal.  To be honest, I have never used a "animal" shampoo in my life.  I only use baby shampoo.  Johnson's and Johnson's, for about 2.99.  It's a great deal, it doesn't do any harm to the animal, and I can use it on my other animals as well (cats, dogs, etc.)
