Sick Skinny Pig

I recently purchased a skinny pig and lately he has been losing weight rapidly, also he makes loud screaching noises.  He is still eating some of his food.  Any idea what is wrong with him?

Any time a guinea pig is losing weight, it is a good idea to take the animal to the vet.  This could very well be a symptom of a much more serious condition, which is why I advise a vet visit as soon as you can.
