Question
Whenever I put my hand in the cage and try to pet my guinea pigs, they just chatter their teeth and then they run. I haven't harmed them in any way and yet they do this. What should I do?

Try getting down at eye level with your pigs as they are probably being a little bit territorial with their own space. Hand-feeding is also another good way of building trust. Please let me know if you have tried these things or if you have any other relevant information.
