Sudden death of a companion guinea pig

Dear Mitchell
I have today suddenly lost my 3 1/2year old male guinea pig called Cutie who had an abdominal tumor. He has been the life long companion of my other piggy Cuddles I am really worried and not sure whether I can introduce another guinea pig to keep Cuddles company. I am really upset and could not bare to lose both of them in a short space of time. I don't want Cuddles to be lonely but i dont want to introduce another guinea pig if they would fight. I would be really grateful for your advice

Sorry to hear about cutie

The thing is intrucing other guinea pigs to ones that have lost a long time freind get a bit frisky maybe bye a baby one and the other one might like it but the chance of them fighting is quite strong

If the guinea pig is lonley and really needs a partner then i guess you have no choice just put up with fighting but if it gets serious then seperate them and try again later
