Can guinea pigs live with rats, ferrets, or cats?

Not in the same cage and the piggy cage would need to be made so those animals could not get into it. Rats, Ferrets, and Cats are all predators who will, if given the chance, usually attack and kill your piggies (there are exceptions to this general rule, but it is highly recommended that for your pig's safety you do not rely on this fact). As long as special care is taken to keep them away from your piggy, there is no reason they can not share the same house.
