Cavy Eyes

I have a cavy who has 2 different eye colors. I know that in other breeds of animals this could be a bad sign. Does this mean that he may be mean?

Hi Ed,

It doesn't mean that he'll be mean, no! Many animals, including cats and dogs, and even humans have different coloured eyes. It's nothing to worry about. If he's an old piggy and one of the eyes is white, it could be that he has developed a cataract.
