Pregnant Piggy / Separation Anxiety

Question
I have two piggies, a girl and a boy. They have been living in the same cage
for quite a while now, because I wanted to breed them. Recently,  however, I
separated the two because I started to see my female was getting fat, and
knew she was close to having her babies. Let's jsut say she didn't like that.
She was crying really loud, until I caved in and put them in the same cage.

Should  I separate them, even with her anxiety? Will Milton (the boy) be mean
to her future babies?

Answer
Hi Carmen

They should be fine Together but Maybe a week before she is due take him out beacause straight after she gives birth he would mate with her and she wouldnt cope looking after 2 sets of babies The female should be fine If the male leaves dont worry about it but if she starts to stop eating and drinking then i guess you have no choice but try to leave them away from each othe for a week then put them back together thats after they are born

Good Luck Carmen Hope you have fun with the new future babies
