QuestionHi,i have nine 28 day old pups.It look like there still drinkin the moms milk,so im not sure when i should take thte babies out.And how am i supposed to tell the difference between the males and females. Also am i able the keep the males alll together and the females in a different one,or do i need to put them all in there own seperate cages?thanks
AnswerSorry I couldn't answer sooner. Wow! Nine pups! first of all, put more food in the food dish and move it closer to the mother. When you start to see the babies nibble on the food, you should start to pick them up and look a t their undersides. I recomend you to rent a book about hamsters to tell the diference between a male or a female. You should seperate the males from the females in two different cages so you don't have a babie boom.
