My hamster=(

I think i have already asked you a question about the same thing, but i need to know A.S.A.P.! I just got a male hamster a couple of days ago and for about maybe 2-3 days he has acted odd. He is WAY less entergetic and when he sniffs (which is constantly), he makes this rattling noise. He also seems to be sneezing or doing something with his nose. You already asked me what bedding i use and I said Carefresh. I dont think it is the bedding though. Altough I have sprad some air freshner in my bedroom in which he is in. PLEASE tell me the conclusion of this A.S.A.P! Thank you for replying before and try to quickly reply to this question as well. Thanks again, Jenna

Hi Jenna,

    It could still be something in the bedding and it defiantly could be the air freshener. Any type of air freshener should not be used around hamsters.
    I would suggest not using any air freshener around him and if he does not improve within the next couple of days I would change his bedding to just plain carefresh or aspen. You said you were using carefresh with colors and he may be allergic to something in the color pieces.
    If none of this helps, write me back and let me know ( let me know if he is still sneezing, how he is eating drinking and his activity).
