Question
so i just got two baby hamster brothers from the same litter, and i dont know what breed they are.  they're dark brown, and they are still very small.  they're about 12 weeks old now, and the brothers still lived together when i got them.  they wrestle a little bit, but there is no blood drawn, or anything harmful done to either of them.  can they stay like this, or will there be trouble in the future?

Answer
Most hamsters are syrians, you can tell by doing a search for syrian hamsters vs dwarf hamsters, they don't really look alike and you will be able to tell the difference. Males, especially syrians, will not be able to stay together forever. As they grow older, they will get territorial, and will fight over area in the cage. Only if you have a large enough cage where the 2 will never cross paths, then you could keep both. I would suggest separating them or giving one to a different family if you cannot support 2 separate hamster cages.
