enlarged balls

My male hamster (Percy) has recently developed enlarged balls near his bottom. Is this a problem? If so, what can i do to help him?

This sounds perfectly normal!  When males reach adulthood their testicles can become very enlarged - also depending on the time of day/weather etc and sometimes they can appear as different sizes  - this is all normal.  Hamsters can get testicular cancer but this is quite rare especially in young hamsters.  You haven't said how old he is, but I'm assuming he is 3-6 months old.  If you are concerned then a vet will be able to check for you, but unless there are other changes in his behaviour etc, then there is probably nothing to worry about.
