UPDATE: dont know if she has enough milk

I took the puppy into the vet last night. She had to have surgery. She had an abscess  that needed to be cleaned out or else the vet said the puppy would of died. She is now on antibiotics and her face has gone down a little. However I noticed today on the mamma that two of her nipples kinda felt hard, like dry skin type and they weren't really out. One of them almost looked as if it was gone. The other one is real small and real rough feeling. What exactly does that mean? She had 6 babies. The mom is half husky and benji type of dog. I have no clue what the dad is. They are a week in ahalf old and all over 1lb-2lbs so I don't know if that is any indication as to what size dog they will be. Thanks for your help. Its appreciated!

It sounds like your dam is getting mastitis.  Very painful and can be toxic to the pups.  You want to either stand her in a tub of warm water so her milk can express or apply warm wash clothes.

You do not want the pups drinking from the milk it can make sick and they can die. You may have to start supplementing the pups.

It sounds like the breeding wasn't a healthy one. It's important to know the what's in your male and female's makeup before consider breeding so the end result isn't sick and dead pups.
