chihuahua birth

my chichuahua seemed like she went into labor about 20 hours ago.  she passed 2 wet bags and pushed a little for about 3 hours.  then nothing else has happened. she is still cleaning herself constantly and is trembling  what is happening

Hi Linda. You really, really need to get this girl to the vet. It sounds like maybe she either has too big of a puppy, or maybe her labor stopped. I seriously suggest getting her to a vet fast. It may be the only way to save her or the puppies. If it's just her labor, then the vet may be able to give her a shot. Since she was pushing for three hours, I would think that maybe she has too big of a puppy for her to whelp, and it's stopping labor.
