Question
My mother has a Jack Russell with a very bad tempermental problem. It is a little over two years old and is so lovable at times but when he gets into something he shouldn't he tries to bite everyone who tries to get what he shouldn't have. I am getting fed up with this and need to know exactly what to do because I just got bit tonite because this dog thinks he can run the family I guess. This happens all the time and my mother will not do anything because she says thats just how jack russells are and I know there is something to do about it and was hoping you can give me some tips or answers to get this dog out of this stage. I hope that you can help me out. Thanks very much JOHN...If there is any other info you need I will be glad to email you back as soon as I receive your questions or whatever...Thanks again...

Answer
Hello,
You can end this in a very easy way. Next time the dog tries to bite you, put your hands around his muzzle and close his mouth. Do not let go untill the dog strats to whine. You will have to keep doing that untill your dog will no longer bite you, this will take some time, and the dog will not stop form the first time you do it, but with time he will.
Good luck...
