Dalmation not eating

My 9 year old Dalmation Nicky has not been eating like he normally does for the past week.  He has skipped his morning meals, letting them sit in the bowl until evening and then takes periodic bites, taking him about four hours to finish a cup and a half of food.  We have not changed food, since we got him in october from a shelter.  He does have an ear infection, so I am wondering if he just doesn't feel good, but he seems very mopey, not wanting to even get up to go outside.

When a dog doesn't want to eat, something is wrong. The fact that he doesn't want to get up and go outside is not a good sign either. An ear infection wouldn't make him feel that bad, although the ear needs to be treated. I would take him to a Vet if I were you.  If it is something serious, the sooner he is checked the better.  I hope all turns out well.
