QUESTION: We took our 5lb pom to petco to get groomed and picked up a shaved dog.  Will her hair grow back?  We paid $550 for this dog and she looks terrible.  I did not ask for our dog to be shaved, and all they offered us is the $35 dollars back.  Please help if you can.  She had beautiful black hair, now she looks like a terrible.  Thank you for any help you can provide me.
ANSWER: Unfortunately,it often doesn't grow back at all,or it only grows back in patches

But since you have only had her shaved once,it will probably grow back but may take months even up to a year-mostly it doesn't grow back if the dog has been shaved numerous times rather then just once,but as I said there is still a chance it may not grow back at all

QUESTION: Do you think that they should compensate us for this.  Our dog is shivering and now terrified to go near bath water in the bathroom.  She use to go in the bathroom daily while my daughter takes a bath.  She jumped out of my daughters arms and fell to the ground last night.  She has never done this before.  Please advise and thank you so much for your assistance in this matter.

Well what I would do would be to take your dog to the vet,and have the vet print up a report of the complaint

You should defiantly seek compensation as this is not what you wanted and the dog is suffering and probably will feel cold in the winter if it doesn't grow back in full

Also if you can get any witnesses that can confirm that you didn't want the dog shaved would be even more helpful
