my daughter needs a therapy / companion dog as she has a very high heart rate.  I have been told by many professionals in the medical field (not my family dr) that she should get a dog as it would beable to moniter her heart rate better then I could.  One seeing eye dog that we were walking by already allerted to a very high heart rate.  how do I go about getting a Therapy dog for her do you know?

Some schools don't like to furnish dogs to those under 18.  Check around and find the right program for your daughter.  Sometimes the state programs for the impaired can help direct you to the right program.
