Yeast(?) infection

Question
Katie has black scab looking areas that have small tiny balls that get tangled in the hair. She's being treated for yeast infections on skin and ears. Her food has no beef, wheat or corn in it. She also is sedated when she is groomed (this had ceased) but she bit someone when she was being dried. They say she goes ballistic about being BATHED? How to handle this? Please help this can't be good to be sedated. She's inside so we have not had to bath her ourselves but once and she was ok. We love our little girl, she's a salt & pepper but looks silver. We appreciate any help.

Answer
I would keep Katie shaved short (including the legs) until this is cleared up. Give her a medicated bath *before* going to the groomer so that she won't have to bathe her. (Get the proper shampoo from your vet.) In fact, I would bathe her once a week in medicated shampoo.

I onced groomed a male who was fine on the table, and turned into a whirling, snapping dervish in the tub. He literally was turning cartwheels in the tub, in the noose, and there wasn't a thing I could do about it but avoid getting in the way of those teeth.
