My dog growls at boyfriend!

Hi Charlotte,
My boyfriend and I live together! We adopted a three year old male (has not been neutered) miniature poodle seven months ago from a family. Our dog is very friendly, intelligent dog and has a very calm personality. He actually reminds me of an old man.
My dog adores me and follows me everywhere!
However, he does not seem to get along with my boyfriend! when my boyfriend goes to pet him or even looks at him - he growls! When my boyfriend calls his name my dog walks away from him and sits in his favorite corner. My dog won't sit beside me if my boyfriend is next to me.
I am the one who walks, bathes and feeds the dog! I attend to most of his needs and give him the most affection!
My dog is friendly with other people and loved my brother when he came to stay with me for a week.
How I get my dog to stop this behavior? Is it a male dominance issue?
Please give me some advice?

The little runt is jealous of your boyfriend. You his WOMAN.LOL
Youn belong to him, and animals can get very jealous.
Our children used to have a cat that chose my husband for her favorite person.
When I would sit in his lap, she ould climb up on his chest, put her back to his chest and her feet on me an push, trying to push me out of his lap.
The little wench had a thing for me hubby.LOl
Boyfriend had better start taking this little romeo for walks, and having some "guy time" with him.LOL
Maybe he will even out his affections.
