Female Shih Tuz

Our shih tuz is a year and half. We have had her since she was 6 weeks.  She is a great dog and has been spayed. If someone tries to pet her she will bit. When we take her outside she will bark and if she was to get loose she would bit. How do we get her to be more friendly with strangers?

What you can do to start off with,would be to have friends offer her a small treat at the same time as touching her so she knows they won't hurt her

But probably what you really have to do is to take her to a trainer,even though she is small this could be a serious problem-call several trainers around and pick the one that you like the best,a trainer works well because they can see what the problem is and will work on it with you
