QuestionMy mom just got a cocker spaniel puppy about 6 weeks old. He's cute and everything but he's VERY mean. He bit me and my sister last night, and he bit my 3 year old nephew on the cheek. It's not play biting either, he'll bite and growl and wont let go. Is this common for this type of puppy? Is there a way to make him stop? please help! we dont want to get rid of him.
AnswerCockers can be very aggressive and are not the best choice for children. I would honestly advice you to place your puppy in a home without children and try a different breed. Barring that, obedience training is your next best bet but if he is showing aggression at such a young age it is likely not going to help much,
