Dog pooping out of revenge...

Question
I have 2 chihuahuas.  They were both great at potting outside.  Then I started dating a guy who is just like me with them.  However the oldest who is 8 gets stressed out when we are in the bedroom or when we leave at times.  We give both dogs so much attention so I don't know why he would feel my boyfriend is taking me away.  I don't know if that's the cause, but it's what it seems like.  If we hug or kiss he barks and wants to be held.  He stands up against our leg and it's like he wants to be in the middle of us.  Please help.  I take him out twice as much as I used to.  I son't know what to do.  My boyfriend is so good to both of them and they love him.  Help!

Answer
Your dog is not pooping out of revenge, dogs really don't do that. He is reacting to someone invading his pack. Your problem is that your dog believes he is the pack leader in your home. Chi's are notorious about that. To him, you are his property and your boyfriend is an interloper. Lots of attention to him, is kissing up basically. Type alpha boot camp into your webbrowser and implement those suggestions. Walk him. Yes even chi's need to be walked. He needs a GOOD strong power walk at HEEL every single day until he's tired.
Good luck with your boy
