2 1/2 year old vizsla showing aggression

Hi.. my 2 1/2 yr old Vizsal Edgrr just recently started showing aggression.First he is not nutered . Would  it really change his behavior? We do have this scheduled for a month from now. He has not bitten anyone .. yet but when he sees a new person he approaches them friendly then all of a sudden he starts barking like crazy. He gets a lot of attention and goes every where w/ us on the weekends and after work. This seems to have started after he was bitten  by another dog this suumer.

Yes neutering should make a big difference.  It would be my first recommendation in this case.  You may not see a big difference until his hormones have time to work out of his system.  

The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts.  Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog.  Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones.  You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat. Even if he knows his commands, it is important for you to be the leader.  He should take his clue on strangers from you.
