frequent urinating?

my dogs been urinating frequently in the most unusual places. we had him going on a newspaper and he's been doing real good, but now hes going on carpet, floor, chair etc... i thought that this was because of stress, seeing how my cousins came to live with us. and whenever he peed anywhere but the newpaper, my mom would punish him, yell at him, and make him stay on the newpaper for maybe an hour. but now i think theres something wrong with him, maybe like a bladder disease? he seems perfectly healthy, playing, eating and stuff.
whats wrong with him?

Take your dog to the vet. This could be a bladder or kidney infection, or even diabetes. And regardless try to have your mom realize that her behavior is simply going to worsen his problems. If it is stress related she's only making it worse and making him hate being on his potty paper.Try the vet FIRST and soon , if that doesn't work, come back here and I'll help you with the stress issues
