my puppy chews on cords!

Question
Hi! I live in Omaha Nebraska and have a 6 month old black and white cocker spaniel named Daisy Mae. Recently she chewed through the cord that was plugged in. I dont think she was shocked or hurt by it, but just to be sure, I would like to know if the incident might have any lasting effects on her.
Thank you!

Answer
Hopefully she got a little jolt that may keep her from doing it again!  but I doubt it.  If she didn't get electricuted, or burn her mouth, she will be fine.  If she is doing this while you are home, you need to watch her closer as this is prime chewing age.  If you are not home or she is unattended, she should be crated as this could have killed her. Crating is not a bad thing. Good Luck, Wendy
