Dog coughs up dry dog food

My dog Muffin is a very picky eater.  She is Lab One year and 7 months old and weighs 70 lbs. I feed her Purina One for her evening meal  some days while eating she will cough up a lot of the food she has just eaten and then she will go and lick it up.  I think it could be she just eating to fast so she can get back to playing with Grandchildren.  Once in awhile this will happen when she drinks a lot of water she will spit some of it up.

Well, sometimes they do eat too fast and upchuck it, but I have not heard of them spitting up water.
I would have her checked by her Veterinarian .
There could be some kind of obstruction that is causing this, that if found right away can easily be fixed.
To wait could turn a small problem into a big one.
I would explain this to a Vet and get her thoroughly checked and if he/she finds nothing wrong, would then just accept it.
If it is just because she eats too fast, maybe she will come out of it some as she gets more mature.
You know, kids to play with is a big distraction. LOL
