dog not eating much and sleeps alot

My 10 month brittany seems to be off her food some and rests alot more in the last day or so. I took her to the vet fri to hAve a tick removed. It was only on her overnight and not engourged yet. I recently applied the frontline. Will this make her somewhat sick? She vommited a small amount that was bright yellow.

Mary, when did you apply the Frontline, and which one did you use (what color was on the box)? Some dogs can have a reaction to the topical flea/tick preventative products, and the Frontline could be the cause of her behavior change, or it could have nothing to do with the Frontline at all. It could be because of the tick - if the tick was infected with a transmittable disease.

It's not uncommon for dogs to vomit bile (the bright yellow substance you referred to) when they have not eaten in a while. However, I would recommend that you at least call and talk to the vet about what is going on, in case s/he wants to do a blood test to check for a tick-borne disease or whatever.

If the problem has to do with the Frontline, you may have to consider using something else.
