pitt bull throws up often

i know that you're not an expert in this area, but i thought maybe with your two years of vet training you might have some insight into this. any advice is appreciated.
i have a 2 1/2 yr old pit mix. her diet is a normal pedigree diet. she is 50lbs. i give her two cups in the morning and two in the evening. she often does not eat the morning helping right away...she lets it sit for a few hours. she throws up quite often. there seem to be no connections to her eating habits. she will often throw up and then eat her food within 1hr of throwing up or sometimes right away. today she cried until i let her outside. she went outside and started eating grass right away. she threw up within 10min of me letting her out. some weeks she will throw up 3/4 times a week, other weeks she doesn't throw up at all. aside from this, she is healthy, spunky, and FULL of energy. what are some things that i might consider? and is this something i should worry about.

My first and foremost idea would be food allergy. Pedigree dog food is full of ground corn, wheat, soy and other inferior grains. It has very few nutritional benefits to it whatsoever and is instead essentially sawdust. Dogs are very prone to allergies involving corn and what, two grains  very indigestible to dogs. To be honest, in two cups of dog food, you might be getting a tablespoon or two of actual nutrients. The rest is just filler undigestible grains that have to be digested and cycled through your dog, which could really be upsetting her system.

This would be an appropriate food choice for your dog if you were looking for a new food:

While these higher quality foods are more expensive.. you will be incredibly surprised at the health, vigor, happiness and energy you see in your dog after the change. Not to mention the decrease in vet bills.
