Question
Hello, I have two small spayed female dogs (Chihuahua and Lhasa Apso). Both are very laid-back. I want to adopt a Chow Chow puppy. I've read that Chows aren't "pack animals" but if a Chow is raised with small dogs are they able to cohabit? If so, would a neutered male Chow be better around small female dogs than a spayed female Chow?

Answer
Either male or female would be ok,it's whatever you would prefer, though females in general are more laid back with other animals. But,since you are getting a puppy and raising it with your current dogs, gender really doesn't matter as much-if you prefer a male, then that would be ok too.Males just tend to play rougher-but chows in general are laid back
