sore on my dogs leg

My dog is three year old lab mix and just recently has a raised sore with an opening in the middle. what can i do to get rid of this and what may have caused this?

The "opening" in the middle of the sore, is it oozing a liquid, does it sore feel warm, or is your dog licking it? Does it hurt your dog to touch the sore?

I can't tell you what kind of sore this is or what may have caused it, based on your description.

The best best for diagnosis is to have your veterinarian examine it. Your dog deserves more than guesswork.
