Itchy, red skin

I have a yorkie and she just started itching yesterday.  Today her skin is red all over.  Can I give her benydryl?

Ordinarily I would say yes.  Benydryl is something that can generally be safely given to dogs.  The dosage is by weight, though, so if you are able to determine ACCURATELY how much to give her, go ahead.  

If this continues for several days, I would have your vet check her over to be sure nothing serious is going on.
